GALVESTON, TX - Nearly 300 men and women signed up for the City of Galveston civil service exam. Many of them showed up today at the Galveston Convention Center to take the exam to qualify for consideration to become a Galveston Police Officer.

The Police News camera was there where we spoke with Police Training Officer Josh Schirad. Then we went to the police obstacle course where those who qualified were put thruough the paces.

As you will see in our video, it wasn't an easy course for some.
