W A N T E D

Javier Cortez, 30, of Pasadena shot a man in head, abdomen and leg on April 8. The man died from his wounds. So far unable to locate and arrest him, authorities have named him to the state's 10 Most Wanted list.

Cortez has a lengthy violent criminal history and is connected to the Houston Tango Blast street gang, according to the DPS.

He was last known to be driving a 1996 Chevrolet Impala with Texas license plate 210YDL. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
