TEXAS CITY - If patience is a virtue, then the businesses that depend on the Texas City Dike will reap the rewards this weekend.

The dike, closed since Hurricane Ike destroyed its bait camps, washed away most of the road and wrecked the boat ramps two years ago, will reopen at 6 a.m. Saturday.
