SANTA FE - Two teenagers were critically injured Wednesday morning after their car
slammed head on into a pickup truck on FM 646, Santa Fe police said.
The 17-year-old male driving the passenger car and his 18-year-old girlfriend were traveling southbound on FM 646 near 4 1/2 Street at about 6:25 a.m. It appeared their car drifted into the
northbound lane and smashed head on into a Chevrolet truck, Lt. Phillip Meadows said.
