HOUSTON, TX - The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force needs your help in identifying a man who robbed the Chase bank located at 12210 FM 1960 West in Houston,Saturday.

About 12:25 p.m., the man entered the bank and gave a teller a threatening demand note.  When the teller attempted to talk with him, he motioned that he could not hear.  The teller said it also appeared as though the man was unable to speak and she believed the robber may have possibly been deaf and mute.

He was handed some cash and left the bank.  No weapon was seen, but witnesses did report seeing a bulge in the man's waistband. The bank's surveillance cameras captured pictures of the man during the robbery.

The robber is 5'8"-5'10" tall, about 160-170 pounds with a very dark complexion.  During the robbery, he wore dark colored clothing.

Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and arrest of this robber, or any felony suspect.  If you have information about this crime, please call the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
