During the July 4th weekend, law enforcement agencies participated in a No-Refusal DWI enforcement operation which proved to be a huge success.
It resulted in breaking county records of 28 blood draws and 54 DWI arrests in one
night.
"It feels good to know that because of our efforts, impaired drivers were taken off the road - and lives were saved that night!" said Vanessa Ayala of the Southeast Harris Community Coalition.
