A disbarred criminal defense attorney accused of injecting his girlfriend with heroin on the day she drowned was found not guilty on Thursday by a Harris County jury.
Shawn Roland Roberts, 40, faced up to two years in state jail on a charge of delivery of a
controlled substance via injection. The charge stemmed from the March 19, 2007, death of Tara Sganga, whom Roberts dated for more than a year.
