Public is Invited to Participate on Saturday, September 11th
Galveston, TX - The City of Galveston, the UTMB Blood Bank, and Del Papa Distributing are holding a blood drive in honor of all first responders and to remember those who gave their lives in the
tragic events of September 11, 2001. The general public is encouraged to participate and donate blood that day.
WHAT: First Responders Blood Drive
WHEN: Saturday, September 11th
10:00 a.m. - 2:00p.m.
WHERE: Fire Station #5
Galveston County Criminal Justice Complex
5728 Avenue H
Blood donations will take between 30-60 minutes on average. Walk-ins are welcome. Donors will have access to drinks and snacks after giving blood and will receive a thank you gift from the UTMB
Blood Bank.
