Breck, I just finished your article on Suicide by Cop and am very impressed.  I've never seen the situation as well presented.  The practive of someone getting the police to kill them is likely even more common than most think.  I agred that the immature individual wanting to go out in a blaze of glory in order to solve his or her problems is often uses the police to further his desire.  Even when the officer who was placed in  that position determines that he was used as a pawn in a suicide it oftentimes weighs very heavily on them.  Thank you for your very insightful article.    Brian Foster
