HOUSTON -- A woman was found shot to death in the parking lot of a southwest Houston Walmart.

Houston police said customers found the woman's body in the driver's seat of a car outside the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Beechnut Street at South Kirkwood Road at about 11 p.m. Thursday.

Investigators said the woman had been shot in the back of her head. Her name has not been released.
